    Major choral concerts with professional orchestras are very expensive to stage - but they are hugely rewarding for both the choir and the community bringing professional music and musicians to everyone.  But the choir needs all the help it can get!

    The choir is very grateful to the many individuals who help as Supporters, Friends or Patrons.

    Generous support from our sponsors has enabled us to:

    • pay for professional singing-leaders/vocal trainers to work with the choir and community during singing workshops
    • join other choirs and perform large scale works with large professional orchestras
    • engage professional players and soloists
    • help work alongside local school choirs and young music groups

    In the year 2000 the original Restaurant Gilmore closed it doors in the heart of Birmingham's Jewellery Quarter to allow Paul and Dee Gilmore to pursue their dream of owning a farmhouse restaurante. Three years of planning, building and conversions has finally resulted in a 24 cover Restaurant Gilmore opening in Beamhurst, near Uttoxeter at the end of November.
